Charlie Kirk And The Haters

Charlie Kirk And The Haters

The assassination of Charlie Kirk was a gut punch to conservatives. On Wednesday afternoon we lost a beloved leader whose tireless mission was to win over the left through debate and argument.

Not violence.

Nothing Charlie Kirk espoused was anything but mainstream 20 years ago. The left has gone so far off the rails that anyone embracing family values, professing his faith, or who says men can’t become women - and they can’t - risks assassination.

Those of us who admired Charlie now pinball between grief and blind rage. Yet businesses are not boarding up. Cities are not bracing for unrest. Everyone knows there will not be riots and looting.

That’s the behavior of the left.

Meanwhile, social media is drenched in the bloodlust and sneering jubilation of those who cheer Charlie’s killer. At first I thought it must be bots at work. Surely no one rejoices over the cold-blooded murder of a father of young children, I thought. Then I watched as scores of teachers, health care workers and business owners were outed and sacked.

They learned that while we enjoy free speech in America, it often comes at a price.

Enjoy the dole, haters

These malignant ghouls should know that killing a man like Charlie Kirk and dancing on his grave only makes him a more of a martyr. It makes his message resonate louder. It makes those of us on the right recommit to the cause of saving our nation.

It’s time. Pick a side.

We are not the same.

NOTE TO THE LEFT-WING TROLLS: Take another day off. If you must spew venom and whataboutism go over to Blue Sky where massive celebrations are underway. Stay off this site or you’ll be banned permanently.
