Charlie Kirk, 31, Assassinated.

Charlie Kirk, 31, Assassinated.

Charlie Kirk is in the loving arms of Jesus.

About this I have no doubt.

Charlie Kirk

He was a conservative, a patriot and a God-fearing force of nature.

Charlie Kirk was assassinated yesterday on a sunny afternoon on the campus of Utah Valley University. Thousands of students had turned out to hear this happy warrior speak about his hopes for America.

He was due to make one of his incredibly popular “Prove Me Wrong” appearances at Virginia Tech in two weeks.

They may have killed Charlie but they can’t kill the things he stood for: God, family, country. A million more Charlie Kirks were created yesterday.

Despite what the legacy media might say about this  young man, those of us who had watched him for years knew Charlie Kirk was a brilliant, funny and kind young man. He loved America with a passion. From the time he was a teenager, he was on a mission to save the U.S. from forces of evil.

No matter what the left says about Charlie, he was a moderate. A man who loved to debate and persuade. He and the organization he founded in 2012 - Turning Point USA - were responsible for the youth vote that turned out in droves for Donald Trump. Turning Point USA has a presence on 3,500 colleges and high school campuses.

Charlie extolled the virtues of family, religion and American values. He cherished his wife and two children. He loved his family.

He exposed the left-wing agendas in public schools and universities. The left hated him for that.

His “Prove Me Wrong” exchanges with liberals were delightful. Charlie always treated his left-leaning sparring partners with respect and good humor as he forcefully debated political issues with them.

Charlie Kirk gave this Baby Boomer hope that America was not on an irreversible course toward godless Marxism, where abortion and euthanasia are perversely treated as virtuous and where belief in a living God is scorned.

Charlie Kirk was a good man who made being conservative cool again.

I credit Charlie Kirk for Gen Z suddenly trending toward  traditional values.

I believed he was destined to be president someday.

With the shocking assassination of Charlie Kirk it feels like America really has reached a Turning Point.
