Shhhhh. Don’t Mention The Religion Of Terrorists Who Attacked America

Sanitizing the history of September 11, 2001 is spreading across the country and every one of us who was alive at the time has a duty to speak the truth: Radical Islamic jihadis attacked our country, killing thousands of innocent people and terrorizing the entire country.

Yet in what was once one of America’s finest public school divisions - Fairfax County - teachers are instructed not to dwell on those who were killed and especially not on who killed them. Focus instead on the rescuers, they are told.

Oh and be sure to mention that there were Muslim heroes that day. Very important!

Fairfax County's new 9/11 teaching guide devotes roughly half its content to creating "safe spaces for Muslim and Middle Eastern students." while mentioning military families just three times and first responders once. The six-page document, obtained by Fox News Digital's @AsraNomani, contains 30 references to Islam, "anti-Muslim racism," and "Islamophobic rhetoric." It explicitly tells teachers not to "associate the 9/11 attacks with Islam or Muslims" and not to "center the extremists or the acts of the extremists." Only about 15% of the guide actually spells out specific 9/11 instruction. Retired Vice Admiral Lou Crenshaw, who was inside the Pentagon when al-Qaeda terrorists flew a plane into the building, ripped the guide for failing to convey "the evilness of what actually happened," calling it a sanitized, "vanilla" approach that shaves the facts until students can't figure out what they're learning about.

So we have schoolchildren being taught that we “lost” people on 9/11 but they’re not being told who killed them.

That bogus telling of history was complemented by The New York Times this weekend, which was wringing its ink-stained hands about Islamophobia.

Stop the presses! You mean when one group terrorizes another, the victims tend to dislike those who attacked them? Who knew?

Perhaps the NYT hasn’t noticed, but in the 25 years since radical MUSLIM jihadis attacked America the Muslim population of the U.S. has grown from about 1.5 million to 5.5 million. The number of mosques has mushroomed from about 1,200 in 2001 to close to 3,000 today.

So Muslims are flocking to America, land of Islamophobia?

Much of that growth is due to immigration, but also to birth rates which are higher in the Muslim communities than in others.

We now we have jihadi sympathizers in Congress, serving as mayors of major American cities and running for office.

Fear of offending this burgeoning Muslim population should not drive what is taught in schools and reported in the news.

Radical Islamists attacked America on 9/11.

That’s a fact.
