Weekend Passes For The Criminally Insane. What Could Possibly Go Wrong?

Weekend Passes For The Criminally Insane. What Could Possibly Go Wrong?

Outrage or relief?

Some of us are unsure how to react upon learning that an illegal alien criminal in Fairfax County was allowed to leave an insane asylum long enough to get a passport. Two years later, on a weekend pass, he jumped on a Turkish Air flight and vanished.

That’s one depraved, violent illegal out of the country. Hence, the relief.

But it raises serious questions about how much longer Virginians must put up with a dangerous prosecutor in Fairfax who coddles criminals and tries his best to get them back on the streets.

Then there are Virginia mental hospitals that send the criminally insane into the community on weekend passes. That raises a question: Who exactly is running Virginia’s asylums?

Let’s back up.

Abdulloi Toshpulodzoda entered the U.S. legally in 2009. He later violated the conditions of his visa and a deportation order was entered.

Like so many other illegals, he ignored it and stayed.

In 2019, Abdulloi killed his landlord, Mohammed Hemmatian. When Abdulloi was apprehended, he was reportedly drenched in blood and told police, “I killed him.”

In 2022, charged with second degree murder, Abdulloi was found not guilty by reason of insanity “due to religious beliefs” after taxpayers paid for a Muslim psychiatrist to evaluate him.

He was committed to a Northern Virginia mental institution.

Two years into his stay - in May of 2024 - Fairfax County Commonwealth’s Attorney Steve Descano signed off on a day trip for the crazy man to go to the Tajikistan embassy to obtain a passport. Descano is a Soros-backed prosecutor who is chronically soft on crime.

Why would an inmate of an insane asylum need a passport? Why in the world would a prosecutor help him get one?

In June of this year, a psychiatrist was pushing to have Abdulloi released, but a judge ruled that he was still insane and needed inpatient hospitalization.

Nevertheless, in July, Abdulloi was given a 48-hour pass to leave the asylum unaccompanied. He headed for Dulles Airport, where he boarded a Turkish Airlines flight to Istanbul, eventually making his way to Tajikistan.

A bench warrant has been issued for Toshpulodzoda, and he is on “escape status” from the mental hospital. Homeland Security and U.S. Customs Service are on the lookout for him should he attempt to re-enter the United States.

In a nutshell, the man who ignored deportation orders for a decade, then allegedly stabbed a man to death and was judged insane, self-deported on July 6th.

Hallelujah, this dirtbag is gone.

That said, Virginia mental institutions need to stop giving violent criminals unaccompanied weekend passes. The public shouldn’t have to worry that unescorted crazed killers have been turned loose on the community for 48 hours.

Let’s face it, Fairfax County’s justice system is a joke and its mental health institutions are crazy.

Another bizarre case out of the increasingly dangerous and insane land of Northern Virginia.

On a positive note: A violent dirtbag is out of the country.
