Illegals: They Steal American Jobs AND Vote
Wait one minute.
I thought illegals were doing jobs Americans won’t do.
So how do we explain Ian Roberts? Since 2023 he’s been the Superintendent of Des Moines public schools, pulling down an annual salary of at least $280,000.
I’d do that job. You?
According to news reports the Guyana native came to the U.S. in 1999 on a student visa.
And never left.
A familiar tale, unfortunately.
He served as a school official in several other districts and states before arriving in Iowa. There he was hired by a Democrat dominated school board, headed by Michelle Obama’s former chief of staff, Jackie Norris, who serves as Des Moines School Board chair.
Roberts lived under the radar until he pleaded guilty to a weapons charge in 2020. Illegal aliens are prohibited from owning firearms. Because of that, in 2024 THE BIDEN ADMINISTRATION secured a final removal order for Roberts.
Yet he never left.
Another familiar story when it came to Biden’s laughable border enforcement.
On Friday, ICE pulled him over on a traffic stop. Roberts fled on foot carrying a loaded handgun, an knife and $3,000 in cash.
So ICE has now arrested Roberts and with a little luck he’ll be on his way back to lovely Georgetown, the capital of Guyana, soon.
According to The Daily Wire Roberts has six children by five different mothers:
…Roberts previously tried to apply for immigration status after overstaying his student visa, which was issued in 1999, according to sources. The application, which listed his children and lovers, was later denied, according to sources.
Two of his children are 11 years old, while the others are 12, 18, 22 and 30, sources said, citing his immigration paperwork. The oldest child was born in Guyana, while the five others were born in the United States.
Following the arrest, ICE Enforcement and Removal Operations St. Paul Field Office Director Sam Olson questioned how Roberts was hired, given his lack of immigration status.
“This should be a wake-up call for our communities to the great work that our officers are doing every day to remove public safety threats. How this illegal alien was hired without work authorization, a final order of removal, and a prior weapons charge is beyond comprehension and should alarm the parents of that school district,” Olson said.
While most of us are wondering how this man obtained a professional administrator’s license from the state of Iowa in 2023 - no background checks at all? - apologists like school board chair Norris urge us to have compassion for this liar and cheat.
"Radical empathy?"
Sure. How about radical deportation?
Oh and it gets worse.
Fox News confirmed Monday that not only was Roberts in the country illegally for 26 years but he’s been a registered voter in Maryland since 2012.
That’s another lie the open border crowd tells us: Illegals don’t vote.
And this, my friends, is the reason that every last illegal in the U.S. needs to go.
