Hegseth To Fat Generals: Shape Up Or Get Out
Kiss the pronouns, the drag queens and the DEI imbeciles goodbye. Hegseth, a graduate of Princeton and Harvard who earned two Bronze Stars for his valor in Iraq and Afghanistan is going to reinvigorate the military and clean house.
His best-selling book, “The War on Warriors,” offers a blueprint for reinvigorating the American military. Job one: Banish DEI and all forms of wokeism.
Don’t look for Hegseth to spout gibberish as his predecessors did about climate change being the primary mission of the military. He understands that the purpose of the military is to be the strongest, most disciplined fighting force on earth. Peace can only be ensured through strength. Right now, our country - from our president to our politically correct military - is weak.
If it wasn’t clear from Day One, Secretary of War Pete Hegseth made it perfectly clear yesterday that he was returning the military to high standards when he summoned about 800 generals and admirals to Quantico for a come-to-Jesus meeting.
His message: Lethality is the mission, and everyone in the military must meet rigorous physical fitness standards.
First, he got rid of this crap:
Next, he went after our fat troops. Frankly, I love the fact that he used the “f” word and didn’t call them “overweight.”
Plain speaking, that’s one of Hegseth’s gifts.
From what I gleaned on social media immediately after the speech, the trigger pullers and the wrench turners in the military cheered Hegseth.
Naturally, right on cue, Democrats were enraged. Trump and Hegseth really are playing 3D chess. With Tuesday’s address, the Trump administration forced those on the left to defend fat soldiers and denounce a military run exclusively on merit.
News flash, lefties: That’s not a winning message.
Democrats immediately accused Hegseth trying to drive women out of the military. Yep, weak women and weak men will be gone. Great careers await the men and women who meet the physical demands of serving in the military.
For those members of the military - including the top brass - who don’t want to do what it takes to meet the new standards, thank you for your service, now find something else to do.
There’s a reason this administration is crushing recruitment goals in all branches of the military: Biden’s freak show is gone. Hegseth’s Pentagon is restoring pride and purpose to our fighting forces.
Tuesday’s powerful speech wasn’t just aimed at the admirals and generals in the room. It wasn’t only meant for American civilians, either.
Our enemies were watching. If they had any doubts before, they now know that the Trump administration means business.
In one speech, Hegseth repaired the image of the American military that had been sullied by Biden’s drag queens, DEI promotions and his reckless surrender in Afghanistan.
Thanks to Hegseth, America is safer today than we were on Monday.
