The Death To America Squad
For a few years they’ve been known simply as The Squad. An almost cute moniker.
You know who they are: The motley collection of mouthy, overwhelmingly female, far-left Democrats in the House of Representatives. Led by Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Ilhan Omar and Rashida Tlaib, they’re the darlings of the legacy media. They never pass by a camera or a microphone - unless the reporter behind it is from Fox News.
Perhaps you heard. These misfits yesterday refused to vote on a House resolution to condemn Iran’s attack on Israel.
Seriously.
In addition to launching at least 320 drones and missiles directly at Israel including civilian targets, Iran is the world’s largest exporter of terrorism. Iranian proxies have been waging war on Israel and the West for decades and they pose an existential threat to America, which Iranian leaders still regard as “the great Satan.” In fact, Iran has been attacking American vessels for months now through their proxies, the Houthi rebels.
Remember, it was Iranians in 1979 shouting the slogan anti-Semitic college radicals echo now: “Death to America.”
Why did these members of the House have so much difficulty condemning this massive attack from Iranian soil on one of our most steadfast allies and the only democratic country in the MidEast?
Honestly?
They’ve been totally unmasked as a pack of anti-semites who hate Jews and favor the destruction of Israel. Frankly, their support of open borders, no cash bail and leniency for criminals suggests they aren’t all that fond of America, either.
The New York Post reports:
The resolution overwhelmingly passed in a 404-14 vote Thursday, with all but one of the “nays” coming from Democrats.
In addition to Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Jamaal Bowman, Democrats Cori Bush of Missouri, Greg Casar of Texas, Jonathan Jackson of Illinois, Pramila Jayapal of Washington, Hank Johnson of Georgia, Barbara Lee of California, Summer Lee of Pennsylvania, Ilhan Omar of Minnesota, Ayanna Pressley of Massachusetts, Delia Ramirez of Illinois and Rashida Tlaib of Michigan voted against the measure.
Thomas Massie (R-Ky.) was the lone Republican to oppose the resolution, which also “reaffirms and supports Israel’s right to self-defense” and “stands with Israel as it defends itself against Iran’s attack and seeks to re-establish deterrence against Iran and its proxies.”
Massie’s vote is hard to explain, other than the fact that he’s a professional contrarian who is opposed to almost all foreign aid. He’s also joined forces with Marjorie Taylor Green to sabotage Speaker Mike Johnson. In other words, he’s a nut.
Rashida Tlaib, who is a Palestinian-American, has been losing her mind over support for Israel. In fact, she “stormed” out of a meeting this week where aid to Israel was being discussed.
Genocide?
Oh please.
Hamas engaged in genocide on October 7th when they invaded Israel and wantonly killed, maimed and abducted Jews, including festival goers, women and children. Every death since then in Gaza is on THEM. If Hamas would release the hostages and surrender, the war would end immediately.
On a happier note, I’ll tell you what many of us didn’t have on our 2024 bingo cards: Sen. John Fetterman making sense.

Until October 7th The Squad was merely loathsome and reliably stupid (It’s sole male member, Jamaal Bowman doesn’t know a fire alarm from a door knob). Now they’ve been exposed as virulent, dangerous haters, openly siding with our enemies in the House chamber.
Time to find a more accurate nickname for this horrifying gang. The Death To America Squad sounds about right.
