Lies And The Lying Liars Who Spread Them
In a normal political cycle, Democrats would be expected to clean up at the midterms. The out-of-office party almost always gains during mid-term elections.
This year is not normal.
Yes, the Democrats may see big wins. They have a problem, however. A big one. The party has been taken over by radical leftist socialists like Zohran Mamdani, Abdul El-Sayed, and yes, Hasan Piker, the nepo baby who is best buds with El-Sayed and who thinks America deserved September 11th.
Now, in addition to campaigning on immigration, Democrat fraud and corruption, and boys in girls' sports, the GOP has an even stronger issue: Democratic Socialists. As much as voters may dislike Donald Trump, do they really want to turn the country over to a bunch of Marxists?
Democrats are feverishly trying to change the subject. Clearly the word has gone down from the DNC to portray Republicans as anti-vaccine and talk about nothing but Trump. Anything to divert attention from the party’s hard left turn.
We saw this strategy in action last week when Pennsylvania Gov. Josh Shapiro called a press conference to lie about two measles deaths in Pennsylvania. He actually used the death of one infant - from a lacerated spleen - to gin up hatred for the Trump administration by calling the baby “unvaccinated” and saying he died of measles.
( An autopsy of the infant showed antibodies to measles, which clearly came from his mother. Oh, and the MMR vaccine is not given until 12 months anyway, so all infants are unvaccinated.)
Shapiro has been unable to point out the so-called second death.
Caught in a lie, Shapiro - the Jussie Smollett of measles - this weekend refused to elaborate and called criticism of him “conspiracy theories.”
Sure, go with that, Josh.
Now Gov. Abigail Spanberger has joined in the Democrat fear-mongering look-over-there campaign by claiming that the president’s executive order banning the USPS from delivering mail-in ballots in states that haven’t provided voter registration rolls will deprive the military of the opportunity to vote.
She’s lying, and she knows it.
In fact, service members are explicitly exempt from the executive order, and voting for members of the military is as easy as it always has been.
Spanberger knows this.
But she also knows that every news cycle that the GOP has to play whack-a-mole with Democrat lies is a news cycle when they are not reminding voters that the opposition party has been taken over by America-hating radicals.
Pay attention and vote accordingly.
