Mark Warner: Spreading Falsehoods On National TV
My, my, my. Who would have guessed?
Seems ABC’s White House Correspondent, Jonathan Karl is more familiar with Virginia voting laws than Mark Warner, Virginia’s senior senator. You know, the guy who pledged to serve just two terms but is now running for his fourth.
Here’s Warner getting schooled by Karl on ABC’s Sunday show, “This Week”:
“You know what, in Virginia we have voter ID and photo ID,” the sanctimonious senator crowed. “I’ve gotta show my…”
“That’s actually not true,” interrupted Karl. “I’m a Virginia voter and you don’t need to show a photo ID in Virginia to vote.”
One of two things is true: Either Warner is unfamiliar with Virginia voting laws. Or he was lying on a nationally televised Sunday show.
I’m going with the latter. Fact is, both options render him unfit for office.
Like every Democrat senator, Warner is frightened to death of the Save America Act, which the majority of Americans in both parties support. The last thing these leftists want is to force every voter to provide a photo ID before voting.
I wonder why…
Thanks to Virginia Democrats, who changed voting laws in 2020, we live in a commonwealth that allows a person to cast a ballot if they simply cough up a utility bill. Or a fishing license. If they can’t dig up anything showing their name, the would-be voter can sign a piece of paper saying they are who they say they are.
In other words, we have no idea who’s voting in Virginia elections.
And Sen. Mark Warner wants to keep it that way.
