Cornell 7: Willing Participant In Orgy Is Not A Victim
A witch hunt is underway in New York.
With news that one of the worst governors in America - Kathy Hochul - had appointed one of the most political prosecutors in the country - Letitia James - to jump into the case of the so-called Cornell 7, it became clear that these two women are out to toss the seven MALE students who took part in a night of debauchery into prison.
This being the eve of the mid-terms there are political implications as well.
Instead of this simply being a case of young people behaving badly, it’s going to become a crime that ruins lives.
For those who haven’t been paying attention, here’s what we have:
Seven young fraternity brothers who are the subject of a civil lawsuit over an orgy they allegedly participated in back in October 2024 are now under criminal investigation for rape.
I’ll spare you most of the details. What transpired inside the Tudor-style frat house two years ago was gross, dehumanizing and sick.
Every single person who took part in the debauched behavior should be ashamed of themselves.
Including the woman.
Pigs. All of them.
When men and women voluntarily swill alcohol and snort drugs, why is the female’s intoxication treated differently from the male’s?
So now the question becomes: Are the males criminals? Is the female a victim?
From what I can gather, no. But a long-standing patronizing attitude toward women may wind up tossing these guys in prison.
I agree with feminist writer Camille Paglia on this one. Here she was some time ago, speaking about how women have agency and don’t need the protection of a double legal standard anymore.
Two years ago, after the lone Cornell female signed a six-page declaration admitting that she consented to the drinking, drug-taking and sex acts with multiple men in a Cornell fraternity house, the local prosecutor determined that no crime had been committed.
With the statute of limitations about to run on civil damages, however, the female - who has so far managed to keep her identity secret - is suing her own sorority house for not stopping her binge drinking, a local Ithaca bar for serving her liquor and the fraternity brothers for dishing up sex, booze and drugs.
They’re rapists, she says now. She was a “victim.”
Here are some of the facts as gleaned from her own signed statements: She walked over a mile to get to the house where she hoped to see a particular guy. During some “flirty” dancing, he asked if she’d want to take part in a threesome with him and another guy.
She eagerly acquiesced.
The threesome turned into a series of encounters with other guys who were enjoying her willingness to put out. According to her account, when she declined certain acts the guys backed off. When she said she was tired they let her rest.
At one point she snorted drugs off one fellow’s erect penis and then allowed other guys to snort drugs off her naked body.
She was inebriated, but able to recall many details of her night at the Chi Phi house. It’s worth noting that several guys were drunker than she was, passing out and dry heaving. She claimed she attended to them.
Sort of like a naked night nurse.
The whole scene - as described allegedly by her - is stomach-turning.
Initially, she told no one about her degrading encounters. But from text messages, it appears that when she was uninvited to a party at the same fraternity house weeks later, she went to the authorities.
If she’d been raped there, why would she want to go back?
The DA did not bring charges.
A grand jury is now reviewing the two-year old evidence to determine if there was a rape and if so, who committed it. That wasn’t enough for Kathy Hochul who saw the opportunity to turn the case into a full-blown woke circus by appointing James to prosecute.
Frankly, this case makes many of us as uneasy much as the Duke Lacrosse and the UVA Rolling Stone cases did.
Just because a woman is filled with remorse after behaving badly and just because her reputation is in tatters, doesn’t mean she gets to toss her sex partners in prison for decades.
Several of the men -whose identities are public - have already lost their jobs. At least one of them claims that the female assaulted HIM by performing oral sex on him while he was nearly passed out.
Finally, you can always count on Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez to get the facts wrong and throw kerosene on a fire.
Here she is, shooting off her mouth in front of an audience of 1,200 students.
If the Cornell 7 are exonerated, AOC just served up a juicy defamation case that could bankrupt her.
That’s one case that will be just and delicious.
