Peace Through Strength
As I write this there is breaking news:
If this is correct - Reuters has confirmed with Iranian officials that it is and by 2 a.m. EST the New York Times confirmed that Israel had agreed - and the war between Israel and Iran is actually over, without loss of American life, without the blockade of the Strait of Hormuz, without launching World War III, without Iran acquiring a nuclear weapon, my heart goes out to the American left.
Imagine how they feel right now as they shamefacedly delete their irrational Tweets, angry website comments and delusional Facebook posts accusing Trump of starting World War III.
Imagine their disappointment that their cries for impeachment now seem laughable.
Imagine their sorrow realizing that Joe Biden - the presidential garden gnome - got more Americans killed in his reckless withdrawal from Afghanistan than President Trump in dropping bombs on Iranian nuclear sites.
Leftists were positively giddy the past two days. They were confident that President Trump had made a colossal mistake by attacking Iran’s key nuclear sites because they neither understand Trump nor foreign diplomacy. They were confident that America was headed for another Middle Eastern war and that oil prices would spike, triggering runaway inflation making American families miserable. (Their best hope for political gains in the midterms.)
They’d gone on Amazon and ordered their Iranian flags.
Shoot, they had their fingers crossed they’d get to wave them at protests this weekend, only to learn that peace through strength - something Democrats don’t understand - might actually work.
It’s tempting to wade through the thousands of impulsive posts from the ghouls on the left who marched in the streets this weekend waving Iranian flags. They look, well, foolish and often traitorous. I may find their most embarrassing takes and publish them later this week if it becomes clear that the ceasefire is holding.
In the meantime, enjoy this. Pocahontas chirping about Trump putting lives at risk while standing on the platform of Planned Parenthood, the abortion factory that kills 1,102 babies a day, 7,735 a week and 402,230 a year.
Has this abortion enthusiast no sense of decency or even irony? I can answer that: No, she does not.
Still, be kind to your leftist friends. They’re fragile right now. They were counting on war, impeachment and more excuses to riot in the streets. It looks instead like we may have peace.
Incidentally, peace and prosperity is what normal folks - who aren’t afflicted with Trump Derangement Syndrome - were praying for when they learned of Operation Midnight Hammer.
