Men Who Compete In Women’s Sports Are Thieves
Oh look.
That thing that never happens happened again. This past weekend a female fencer refused to compete against a man who was pretending to be a woman. As a result of her refusal to duel Redmond Sullivan, Stephanie Turner was booted from the Cherry Blossom Open at the University of Maryland.
She was escorted out of the venue by tournament officials. As if she’d done something wrong.
'I saw that I was going to be in a pool with Redmond, and from there I said, "OK, let's do it. I'm going to take the knee,"' Turner said.
'I knew what I had to do because USA Fencing had not been listening to women's objections. I took a knee immediately at that point. Redmond [Sullivan] was under the impression that I was going to start fencing.
'So when I took the knee, I looked at the ref and I said: "I'm sorry, I cannot do this. I am a woman, and this is a man, and this is a women's tournament. And I will not fence this individual."
Turner told reporters that she never competes in tournaments when “trans” women are on the roster, but she didn’t see Sullivan’s name until the night before the competition.
In previous years when I had known about transgender fencers being present, I just wouldn't register, but for this one, Redmond must have signed up after me," Turner said.
After Turner’s story went viral, tennis legend Martina Navratilova protested on X: “"This is what happens when female athletes protest! Anyone here still thinks this is fair??? I am fuming… and shame on @USAFencing, shame on you for doing this. How dare you throw women under the gender bulls--- bus!!!"
He appears to be a mediocre fencer, but he won two gold medals since competing in women’s tournaments. His first came in December 2024 and the next was on March 16 of this year.
Those are gold medals that he stole from women. In fact any man who elbows a woman out of a medal or an athletic scholarship is a thief.
Shame on Fencing USA, for putting out this virtue signaling gibberish to explain the inexplicable.
