YouTuber With An IPhone Embarrasses Legacy Media
Legacy media is dead.
Its warrant was signed at least 91 million times over the weekend as a bombshell story about massive Somali daycare and healthcare fraud hit social media.
And the independent reporter who actually took a camera and exposed the daycare centers as fronts for money laundering? One Nick Shirley, a 23-year-old hoodie-wearing YouTuber who did the kind of shoe-leather journalism that used to be the bread and butter of muckraking newspapers and TV investigative shows like “60 Minutes.”
Today, Mr. Shirley has no competition.
Despite reports trickling out about Somali-run fraud in Minnesota no other reporter thought to actually visit the so-called child care centers on weekdays to see if children were there.
They weren’t.
Worse, the Somalis running the scams slammed doors in Shirley’s face and in at least one case, called the police to report a trespasser.

No sooner had Shirley posted his video than Elon Musk - the king of X, with roughly 230million followers- reposted it. In minutes, social media was on fire and Shirley’s report was seen by more eyes than a simple network news segment would ever reach.
In addition, another citizen journalist, Scott Pressler, is exposing massive voter fraud in Minnesota where same-day voter registration includes the caveat that any registered voter can “vouch” for up to eight other people as being qualified to vote.
Imagine that. Multiplying your own vote by eight simply by dragging unregistered strays to the polls on the Election Day, with a promise that they’ll vote the way you tell them - or pay them- to.
Oh, and many of these Somali-run “daycare”centers and healthcare companies are pouring money into Democratic campaign coffers.
This is a giant Minnesota money-laundering operation, fleecing taxpayers - both local and federal - to enrich the Somali community, keep corrupt politicians in office and send money back to that crap-hole country in Africa.
Law-abiding, tax-paying Americans should demand arrests, trials, convictions, deportations and denaturalizations.
We want to see perp walks, handcuffs and planes full of Somalis headed back to where they came from.
While we’re at it, some of us want to know what Kamala Harris was THINKING by selecting this Minnesota corruptocrat governor as her running mate. Tim Walz, it turns out, is the Fraudfather of Minnesota.
On the plus side, Nick Shirley’s sudden fame may inspire a generation of young muckrakers to begin FOIA-ing government documents. Once they have those in hand they can grab their iPhones and set out to expose the fraud that exists from coast to coast. From city councils wasting public money on projects for their friends to voter fraud and the hijacking of public welfare projects.
