Virginia Dems Convene “Return To Gerrymandering” Session

Virginia Dems Convene “Return To Gerrymandering” Session

Let’s be clear about what’s going on in Richmond right now with the sham “Jay Jones” Special Session.

Democrats, desperate to get Jay Jones off the front pages and Winsome Earle-Sears off the campaign trail, are staging an unprecedented 11th-hour session of the General Assembly to try to ram through a Return-To-Gerrymandering constitutional amendment.

With one week left until Election Day these panicked partisans have scrubbed Jones’ name from Abigail Spanberger’s campaign bus and sent their nominee for governor barnstorming through Virginia while Earle-Sears - who actually has a job - is forced to stay in the capital  to preside over the Senate.

They’ve seen the polls. They know their candidates are in trouble. These Chicago-style machine Democrats are willing to do anything to get a win.

The lieutenant governor is also prohibited from raising funds while the General Assembly is in session, so supporters of Winsome Earle-Sears should flood the Republican PACs with money to keep her ads on TV.

Especially this one:

And This one:

Oh, and my personal favorite:

Democrats opened the Monday afternoon session with their usual gibberish - they actually talked about “birthing persons” - and they refused to let Republicans even ask questions.

It’s expected that they’ll introduce their Return-To-Gerrymandering measure on Wednesday. No one knows what’s in it.

If the monumental Jay Jones scandals aren’t enough to energize Republican voters in Virginia, this exercise in bare-knuckles, machine politics ought to get out the vote.

Any person who was thinking about sitting this election out has been given a taste of just how out-of-control Virginia Democrats will be if they not only retain control of the House of Delegates but also sweep the top three jobs. Every bill that was vetoed by Gov. Glenn Youngkin will be signed into law by a Governor Spanberger.

Jay Jones is unqualified and the subject of a criminal investigation. He should lose by 20. Jason Miyares on the other hand is smart, competent and honest. This should be a slam dunk.

Ghazala Hashmi has refused to debate her opponent for Lt. Gov., Virginia’s tireless campaigner, John Reid, but her appearances at pro-Hamas events and posing with Free Palestine banners tell you everything you need to know about this far-far left woman.

And then there’s Spanberger.

Spanberger’s the woman who turned her nose in the air and refused to even look at her opponent during their debate. She, too, is a far-left radical who would turn Virginia into an unsafe sanctuary state where illegals would be shielded from deportation and where criminals would enjoy the revolving door that was removed from Virginia jails and prisons almost 30 years ago.

And under Spanberger, boys would be welcome to march into locker rooms, bathrooms and onto girls’ teams. Sexual assaults like the ones in Northern Virginia public schools will become an epidemic. The perps? They’ll go free.

Gone are the days when reasonable Virginia Democrats reached across the aisle to work with Republicans. This bunch in Richmond would be more at home in New York City.

This bogus special session should serve as a get-out-the-vote event for Virginia’s GOP.
