Roads Blocked By Protesters? Arrest Every One.

Pro-Hamas protesters are not like you and me. In almost every way imaginable.

They apparently believe that by screaming “death to America,” blocking traffic and disrupting air travel they will win the hearts and minds of Americans. Then again, they may simply be trying to scare us into supporting their twisted cause.

Those tactics may work in some parts of the world. Not here. Not where most people are law-abiding and love their country.

Yet these keffiyah and mask-wearing lunatics turned themselves loose on America yesterday. From New York to Chicago to San Francisco, they inconvenienced millions of ordinary, decent Americans in the process and caused many of us to loathe them and Hamas more than ever.

When I saw that the Golden Gate Bridge was closed in both directions for more than five hours on Monday I wondered about the people trying to get to work, to their chemo appointments, and the motorists who’d been rushing to be with dying loved ones.

Sure, about 30 of the protesters were arrested. But what took the police so long? Get out the tasers and handcuffs and round up anyone blocking traffic. Charge them with every crime possible and sentence them to significant time in jail.

Peaceful demonstrations are protected by the First Amendment. Illegally blocking roadways are not.

Oh,  and it’s time to bring back laws against wearing masks in public. These protesters aren’t worried about germs. They’re hiding their identities.

These freaks couldn’t care less about emergency vehicles, missed flights, pregnant women or sick kids. It’s all about their support for a terrorist state and their undisguised anti-Semitism.

In Chicago, I-190, the main artery leading into O’Hare Airport was blocked Monday by these screeching banshees. Frantic travelers bolted from their cars and walked to the airport on foot, dragging their bags to catch flights.

Oh,  and it’s time to bring back laws against wearing masks in public. These cowards aren’t worried about germs. They’re hiding their identities.

It was a similar scene in Seattle where the SeaTac airport expressway was blocked for hours, leaving travelers to hoof it to the airport. Officials there sent out alerts and told people to take light rail.

Preposterous.

Why should law-abiding people have to alter their plans? Get the protesters out of the streets by force if need be, but clear the roadways.

The New York Post reported that:

Anti-Israel protesters shut down San Francisco’s Golden Gate Bridge in both directions for hours Monday while also creating traffic jams for drivers trying to reach Chicago’s O’Hare International Airport.

“Golden Gate Bridge is closed in both directions for an undetermined amount of time,” the San Francisco Department of Emergency Management said in a statement early Monday afternoon, citing a “civic demonstration.

“Expect delays and use alternate routes.”

The bridge reopened again in both directions by late afternoon.

A CIVIC demonstration? Please. That sounds legal. Closing down a major bridge for hours must be illegal even in California. The bridge protesters reportedly used a “sleeping dragon” technique that involves being chained to each other and their cars.

Frankly, those shenanigans ought to bring an enhanced penalty.

I can’t help but wonder what I would have done back in 1998 if my car was blocked by protesters when I was frantically rushing to my mother’s death bed.

I believe I might have stomped on the accelerator and hoped the morons got out of the way.
