What the heck is wrong with Joe Biden?

OK, we know he isn’t all there, but on Sunday he was unable to think on his feet long enough to express sympathy for Hawaiians who are suffering through a catastrophic natural disaster.

Ninety nine people dead (and counting) and 2,000 structures incinerated on the island of Maui. Yet when asked if he had a comment about the fatalities in America’s 50th state, the fresh-off-the-beach president smiled and replied:

“No comment.”

Huh?

In case you missed it, Biden spent yet another weekend sunning himself on a Delaware beach, staring into space. The press corps is kept at bay during the vacationer-in-chief’s weekly vacations. Apparently his handlers don’t want Biden disturbed during his four-day weekends.

When they were finally able to catch up with him, a female reporter lobbed a softball at Biden and the clueless coot lacked the ability to catch it.

If there’s one thing every single president is good at, it’s expressing a few poignant phrases whenever there’s a catastrophic news event. They usually rise to the occasion.

Anyone else remember Donald Trump’s response when a member of the press informed him that Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg had died?

Clearly, this president isn’t with it. There is simply no excuse for his “no comment” reply when simply asked to say SOMETHING about the tremendous devastation on Maui.

Maybe Biden was busy trying to find a way to bring up his son Beau’s death, to equate it with what Hawaiians are experiencing as they give their DNA to help identify the remains of their family members.

(Biden’s just crass enough to give that a try. Don’t doubt me. Biden had the audacity to invoke Beau to the Gold Star families of the troops who died due to his reckless withdrawal from Afghanistan in 2021. They’re still smarting from his insensitive remarks.)

It’s obvious that Biden is incapable of speaking off the cuff. He needs written talking points from his lieutenants to respond to any impromptu question.

How will Democrats allow this meat puppet to run for another term?

A better question might be, does anyone - other than his grasping wife and his worthless son, who may wind up in prison if a Republican is in the White House - want him to run?
