America’s Worst Athletes
Ladies and gentlemen, your U.S. Women’s National Soccer Team.
Spoiled, ungrateful and woke. U.S. Women's Soccer Team Silence During National Anthem. pic.twitter.com/3J6Pj6w9fM

Don’t they make you proud? Despite coming from the greatest country in the world, they appear to be the most disrespectful brats playing in international competition.
Compare the Portuguese women's national soccer team singing their national anthem at the women's World Cup to how the US players sang ours. https://t.co/2wPIEY6b10 pic.twitter.com/dVVPB28D6D

Yep, it appears these insolent, unappreciative athletes traveled to New Zealand to represent themselves in the world championships. They certainly don’t represent me or many other Americans.
By disrespecting our national anthem, these ultra-talented jerks are carrying on an ugly tradition begun by one of America’s most unlikeable athletes, Megan Rapinoe.
In 2016 she began copying Colin Kaepernick by kneeling during the playing of the Star Spangled Banner. The U.S. Soccer Federation quickly put an end to that behavior by issuing a statement saying all players were expected to stand during the national anthem.
Rapinoe was livid.
"I'll probably never put my hand over my heart," Rapinoe sputtered at the time. "I'll probably never sing the national anthem again."
And after winning the World Cup in 2019 she issued these memorable words:
“I’m not going to the fucking White House.”
America’s sweetheart.
Pity is, this infantile athlete is a leader on the team and most other members have followed her lead, by standing mutely during the National Anthem and making fools of themselves.
American women play the Netherlands on Wednesday.
I’ll be rooting for the Dutch.
