NYT News Flash: Biden Is Old

NYT News Flash: Biden Is Old

Wow. What a coincidence. The same week that a Reuters poll gauged Joe Biden’s approval rating at 36% - an all-time low - The New York Times discovered that Joe Biden was old and incompetent!

Writing for the Times on July 9, Peter Baker revealed that Biden is older now than Ronald Reagan was at the END of his second term!

Imagine the amount of digging it took to find THAT nugget!

In a piece headlined “At 79, Biden Is Testing the Boundaries of Age and the Presidency,” Baker notes:

“Questions about Mr. Biden’s fitness have nonetheless taken a toll on his public standing. In a June survey by Harvard’s Center for American Political Studies and the Harris Poll, 64 percent of voters believed he was showing that he is too old to be president, including 60 percent of respondents 65 or older.

Mr. Biden’s public appearances have fueled that perception. His speeches can be flat and listless. He sometimes loses his train of thought, has trouble summoning names or appears momentarily confused. More than once, he has promoted Vice President Kamala Harris, calling her “President Harris.” Mr. Biden, who overcame a childhood stutter, stumbles over words like “kleptocracy.” He has said Iranian when he meant Ukrainian and several times called Senator Mark Warner, Democrat of Virginia, “John,” confusing him with the late Republican senator of that name from Virginia.

Enough with the childhood stutter excuse. Biden was able to pronounce big words when he was younger. OK, he may have plagiarized them from Britain’s brilliant orator, Neil Kinnock, still he could spit them out.

Fact is, he shuffles when he walks, he appears lost when Dr. Jill or one of his aides isn’t by his side and Baker says he works “five- or five-and-a-half-day-a-week.”

Impressive really, when you think of the damage he’s done to the country while taking weekends off.

Baker noted that his “gaffes” are legendary but that “Republicans and conservative media gleefully highlight such moments, posting viral videos, sometimes exaggerated or distorted to make Mr. Biden look even worse.”

Here’s an unadulterated clip from this weekend when Biden seemed to be channeling Ron Burgundy, the loopy main character played by Will Ferrell in 2004’s “Anchorman” who read whatever was on the Teleprompter.

the second Tweet is from Emilie Simons, assistant White House Press Secretary, lying.

The White House then tried to cover for Biden by releasing a “transcript” of the tape claiming that he said “Let me repeat the line,” which is not what the president said. Nor would it have made any sense. Go back and listen again if you don’t believe me.

The White House communications staff has a tough job, but they can’t gaslight all of the country all of the time.

When The New York Times runs a front-page story pointing out that the president wasn’t capable of traveling to the Middle East directly from his European trip two weeks ago but needed to come home to rest, it’s a sign that they’re done with Biden.

Gird your loins for puff pieces on younger Democratic hopefuls like the hypocritical governor of California, Gavin Newsom, or Michigan’s loathsome Gretchen Whitmer. You know, the governor who followed the science and didn’t let Michiganers buy seeds during her insane covid lockdowns.

Memo to Biden: When you’ve lost The New York Times, which worked tirelessly to get you elected while you hid in your basement, you’re finished.
