Kamala Harris. A National Embarrassment.

The more America sees of Joe Biden, the better Jimmy Carter looks.

Likewise, the more we see of Kamala Harris, the better Sarah Palin looks. In fact, the current vice president is everything they warned us Palin would be if she were elected vice president:

A national embarrassment.

Admittedly, John McCain’s choice for veep wasn’t a Mensa member. She was often tongue-tied and inarticulate. Palin delivered a barn-burner of a speech at the 2008 Republican convention and it was downhill on a snow mobile after that.

To be fair, Palin didn’t seek to be John McCain’s running mate. By all accounts, the McCain team traveled to Alaska and persuaded the governor to join the ticket.

Kamala Harris, on the other hand, is deluded enough to believe herself to be presidential material. She dropped out of the race for the Democratic nomination in 2020, however, due to a shortage of funds and support.

On paper, Harris is an attractive candidate. Yet this former California Attorney General turned out to be shallow, ill-informed and less articulate than Palin.

Why the Biden administration decided to send this deeply unserious person to Eastern Europe while Russia is waging war on Ukraine is unfathomable.

Was Dr. Jill unavailable?

Harris burst into laughter - twice - at a press conference with the president of Poland when she was asked about the plight of Ukrainian refugees. Then she prefaced her reply with a giggly, “A friend in need is a friend indeed.”

Inane.

After the presser Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelenskyy’s former spokeswoman Tweeted out: “It would be a tragedy if this woman won the presidency.”

Indeed it would.

At that same press conference, Harris greeted the public by saying:

“I am here. Standing. Here. on the northern flank, on the eastern flank, talking about what we have in terms of the eastern flank and our NATO allies, and what is at stake at this very moment.”

Incomprehensible.

A day later, at another press conference, this time with the president of Romania, an American reporter asked Harris about inflation. In response, she looked helplessly at the Romanian president to see if he would field the question. When it was clear he wouldn’t, Harris let loose with this word salad:

Harris is the reason you don’t hear much talk about impeachment. Our C-student president has bungled everything he’s touched since he was elected, but our vacuous vice president might be even worse.

Three more years.
