How much longer will the mainstream media get away with pretending that it’s conservatives who are racist and never liberals?
It’s difficult to understand why the homicide charges were ever lodged against Rittenhouse, except that the explosive mood in Kenosha demanded vengeance for the shootings.
While its school languish and its population shrinks, cronyism and corruption continues to flourish in the Old Port City.
The New York Times reported last week that only 27 percent of American parents are eager to get their young children vaccinated. I’m surprised it’s that high.
Why should illegals get a huge bonanza because they dragged their kids with them as they attempted to break into America?
A key part of Governor-elect Youngkin’s campaign message was bringing more charter schools to Virginia. He wants to attract the best charter schools, and he wants to get started on day one.
Parents of school children shifted decisively from McAuliffe to Youngkin during the campaign. But there’s a big piece of the story that everyone is missing: how conservative media established the narrative of “critical race theory” and made it a top-tier issue in the election.
Almost nothing. In fact, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez says the problem was that McAuliffe was too moderate.Bring on the mid-terms.
The smart, upbeat Glenn Youngkin, promised to “serve” the people of Virginia rather than tell them what to do. A welcome change.
“On Day One we’re going to reestablish expectations of excellence in our schools. When my opponent was governor 88 schools failed to reach accreditation and rather than do the hard work in fixing them, he just lowered the standards so none would fail.”
Democrat politicians and pantywaist school officials are turning Virginia’s public schools into treacherous places where children are shot or raped by classmates enjoying second chances. Meanwhile, charter schools are a no-go. Test scores are abysmal. Magnet schools are being dumbed down. And children in Virginia are being left behind.
Terry McAuliffe demonstrated as governor that he will fight public charter schools.
He will oppose them regardless of the lifelong costs to the students of some truly pitiful Virginia public schools.
This is just the latest dirty trick by a desperate campaign to elect McAuliffe. One that will surely backfire. If the Democrat was down 8 points on Thursday, he should be down by 20 by the end of the weekend.
There is too much news today to limit ourselves to just one topic.
In his “Deskside Chat” yesterday, Aaron Spence spoke about teachers as if they’re toddlers in need of naps.
Chew on this: On October 7 McAuliffe claimed that 1,142 Virginia children were in ICU beds, when the total number of children in hospitals with Covid - not even in intensive care - was 35. Why would he lie about such things?
Why hasn’t Northam yet acted on Ronald Davis’ request for a pardon? No doubt he’s waiting till after the election to free hundreds more criminals. No point in highlighting his party’s soft-on-crime policies while McAuliffe is in such a tight race.
