Trump’s Cabinet: Smart, Eloquent And Wary Of the Press.

Trump’s Cabinet: Smart, Eloquent And Wary Of the Press.

Donald Trump learned a lot during the Biden years as he fumed over his 2020 loss.

One lesson Trump clearly stuck: He needed a better, smarter, more articulate cabinet next time around.

Enter Secretary of State Marco Rubio and Secretary of War Pete Hegseth. Both cabinet members faced the press yesterday. Both displayed an impressive clarity of purpose, strength of resolve and eloquence.

They aren’t courting the press as leftists like to do. They are accessible, but disciplined. Best of all, from a security standpoint, there are no leaks coming from their departments.

Watch Rubio give cogent answers about the U.S. attacks on Iran to a swarm of antagonistic members of the legacy media yesterday.

The secretary made it clear the U.S. had information that Israel was about to attack Iran and this administration refused to wait until American assets were struck in retaliation to act.

Rubio added that the objective of the attacks was to destroy the Iranian navy and that country’s ballistic missile manufacturing, capabilities and its drone production.

The result, Rubio said, will be a safer world.

“The hardest hits are yet to come,” Rubio warned. “The next phase will be more punishing on Iran than it is right now. The world will be a safer place when we're done with this operation."

Hegseth also held a presser. He essentially told the press that this administration was not going to give their war plans to a bunch of pencil-necked scribes or our enemies.

At times the two are indistinguishable.

Prior to his confirmation the left-wing media did their best to paint Hegseth as a drunken, feckless Fox newscaster and dilettante.

They were wrong. Hegseth’s Ivy League education, combined with his nine years of military service in Iraq and Afghanistan, has taught him to be wary of the press. That’s a good thing in the current climate.

Hegseth concluded his presser with a message to American troops.

These are two non-DEI leaders America needs right now.

In a lengthy X post Monday, former National Security advisor Mike Flynn said this:

“Agree with this war or not, this is what right looks like when you put the right people in the right seats at the right moment in history. “
